عاجل : أفاد مراقبو المرصد الآشوري لحقوق الإنسان في العاصمة السورية دمشق بوقوع هجوم إرهابي مروع اليوم الأحد الموافق 22 حزيران / يونيو 2025 . حيث قام انتحاري بتفجير نفسه داخل كنيسة مار الياس في حي الدويلعة بدمشق أثناء القداس الإلهي.
وقد سبق التفجير إطلاق نار من قبل الانتحاري على المصلين داخل الكنيسة، مما أدى إلى سقوط عدد كبير من الضحايا. التقارير الأولية تشير إلى أن الحصيلة حتى الآن هي 22 قتيل وحوالي 63 جريح حتى الآن.
يدين المرصد الآشوري لحقوق الإنسان هذا العمل الإرهابي الجبان الذي استهدف دور العبادة والمدنيين الأبرياء، ويؤكد على ضرورة حماية جميع المواطنين ووقف استهدافهم على خلفية دينية أو طائفية.
Urgent: Terrorist Bombing Inside St. Elias Church in Damascus Leaves 22 Dead, 63 Wounded
....................Damascus, Syria – Observers from the Assyrian Monitor for Human Rights in the Syrian capital, Damascus, report a horrific terrorist attack today, Sunday, June 22. A suicide bomber detonated himself inside St. Elias Church in the Douwela'a neighborhood of Damascus during divine liturgy.
The explosion was preceded by the assailant opening fire on worshippers inside the church, leading to a high number of casualties.
Initial reports indicate a toll of 22 dead and approximately 63 wounded.
The Assyrian Monitor for Human Rights vehemently condemns this cowardly terrorist act that targeted a place of worship and innocent civilians. We emphasize the urgent need to protect all citizens and halt their targeting on religious or sectarian grounds.
