It
has been informed by the Assyrian Monitor for Human Rights in Hassaka, Syria
that ISIS has released 22 people who were kidnapped this past February 23rd,
after ISIS occupied and took over the Khabour village. The monitors added that
the release of the hostages came after negotiations were conducted by the Office of the Archdiocese of the Assyrian Church of
East.
They
arrived this morning, and they are in good health. There remains more hostages
with ISIS, including women and children.
